Extended Description:

Matrox Monarch 4K/Multi-HD Webcasting and Remote Production Encoder

Featuring an exceptionally low latency of 100 ms glass-to-glass, as well as flexible, future-proof connectivity with 3G, 12G SDI, and ST 2110 over 25 GbE network connections, the Matrox® Monarch EDGE encoder and decoder pair offer best-in-class video transport for today’s most demanding remote production (REMI) workflows. The 4:2:2 10-bit capable Monarch EDGE encoder and decoder pair enables broadcasters to affordably produce live multi-camera events by minimizing on-site expenses and keeping talent in-house, and confidently deliver superlative-quality live programming. The Monarch EDGE encoder and decoder pair delivers high-frame-rate (50 or 60 fps), multi-camera video streams at resolutions up to 4K or quad HD, using a variety of streaming protocols, including SRT, MPEG-2 TS, and RTSP—all packaged in compact, portable, and low power appliances.

The 8-bit version of the Monarch EDGE encoder meanwhile, allows live event producers to easily produce next-generation live, synchronized multi-angle productions for cloud-based REMI workflows. Content creators can also take advantage of Monarch EDGE’s powerful encoding engine to stream to 16 OVPs simultaneously—using the adaptable RTMP protocol—for unprecedented reach and exposure.

Matrox Monarch LCS Lecture Capture Appliance

Matrox® Monarch LCS is a dual-channel, dual-input H.264 lecture capture appliance. IT administrators find this reliable, standalone network appliance simple to set up and integrate into any open Video Management System (VMS) or Learning Management System (LMS). Monarch LCS allows users to easily define profiles for live streamed and recorded lectures by mixing camera and presentation material from SDI and HDMI sources. Once configured, this versatile appliance can be operated by anyone at the push of a button.

Matrox Monarch LCS Multi-Source Streaming and Recording Appliance

The Matrox® Monarch LCS video encoding appliance makes live webcasting simple, delivering high-quality streams to Facebook Live, YouTube, or a favorite content delivery network (CDN) with multi-camera production value, without operator assistance. Whether webcasting house of worship services, enterprise communications, government meetings, or similar live events, the webcast process should be as easy as possible. Set the production layout and delivery settings before the event; when ready to start, simply connect live sources—camera or computer—to the inputs and begin the webcast with a single push of a button.

Matrox Monarch HDX Dual-Channel H.264 Encoder Appliance

Matrox® Monarch HDX is a simple and versatile video encoding appliance specifically designed for broadcasters and webcasters who need a flexible solution that is powerful enough to take on today’s demanding webcasting and recording workflows. Monarch HDX offers 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs with frame-synchronization to correct any discontinuity at the input, and two independent H.264 encoders that can be assigned to individual tasks. Webcasting to YouTube and Facebook Live is made easy through its simplified set up for these popular platforms. All that’s needed is to pair the device once with these accounts and it’s automatically retained for subsequent streams.

Matrox Monarch HD Professional Streaming and Recording Appliance

Matrox® Monarch HD is a small, easy-to-use video streaming and recording appliance designed for professional video producers to stream a live event while simultaneously recording a higher, master-quality version for post-event editing or archiving. Webcasting to YouTube and Facebook Live is made easy through its simplified set up for these popular platforms. All that’s needed is to pair the device once with these accounts and it’s automatically retained for subsequent streams.

From any HDMI input source such as a camera or switcher, Matrox Monarch HD generates an H.264-encoded stream compliant with RTSP or RTMP protocols. While encoding the video at bitrates suitable for live streaming, Matrox Monarch HD simultaneously records a high-quality MP4 or MOV file to an SD card, a USB drive, or a network-mapped drive. Matrox Monarch HD is remotely controlled using any computer or mobile device with a web browser.

Matrox VS4Recorder Pro Multi-Channel Recording Software and Quad HD-SDI Card for PC

The Matrox VS4Recorder Pro software frame-accurately records four live audio/video feeds using a Matrox VS4 quad HD SDI capture card. VS4Recorder Pro is ideal for recording live multi-camera productions like concerts and sporting events to create video assets that can be easily repurposed and archived. The VS4Recorder Pro offers two different recording modes: “Multicam,” which provides synchronized frame accurate captures, and “independent,” which offers a wide range of video and audio codecs to choose from. And what’s more, VS4Recorder Pro simultaneously provides a complete multiviewer experience.

Matrox X.mio and Matrox DSX SMPTE ST 2110 25 GbE Network Interface Controller Cards

Matrox SMPTE ST 2110 network interface controller (NIC) adapters offer a complete ST 2110 solution to build reliable and scalable COTS-based 10 GbE and 25 GbE IP solutions. Matrox ST 2110 NICs offload all packet processing required for ST 2110-20, ST 2110-30, ST 2110-31m and ST 2110-40, as well as ST 2022-7 redundancy, to free up system resources. Matrox ST 2110 NICs are architected for universal compatibility by providing narrow senders (Type N)—paced in hardware according to ST 2110-21—as well as providing line-rate capture for wide asynchronous receivers. The ST 2110 IO cards also integrate hardware-based PTP allowing for ST 2059-2 accuracy in the nanosecond range—eliminating network jitter associated with software-based IP solutions. The ST 2110 IO cards also provide built-in support for NMOS Device Registration and Discovery (IS-04) and for NMOS Device Connection Management (IS-05), allowing for seamless deployment in ST 2110 environments. Matrox ST 2110 NICs are guaranteed to provide a smooth transition to ST 2110 with no hassle.
